How Marvelous – The Beginning Of My First Art Journal

Today, the journey of my first Art Journal begins. A month filled with sorrow and grief following Nate White taking his God given life is almost passed.

Grieving the loss and the life on one you’ve loved is a process.

Moments of unbelief, sheer terror of his physical and mental suffering that took him to the place of desiring death over life.

Just like this page of creative and artistic expression, life takes on many layers, turns, scars, and beauty. Jesus said in John 16:33 … In this world, we will have trouble (tribulation) but take courage; I have overcome the world.”

In worship today we sang Chris Tomlin’s How Marvelous song. “He (Jesus) took my sin and my sorrows.

He made them His very own. He bore the burden to Calvary and suffered and died alone.

When with the ransomed in glory, His face I at last shall see. Twill be my joy through the ages to sing of His love for me.

How marvelous, how wonderful and my song shall ever be. How marvelous, how wonderful is my Saviors love for me!

Nothing we experience here is larger than the saving power, grace and love of Jesus Christ. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!

Blessings and His peace to you!
